- Who is first person that Harvey meets at the house?
- Describe her in your own words.
- Who are the next two people that Harvey meets? Describe them.
- What information do we find out about Rictus?
- What do you make of the phone call Harvey makes to his parents? Does his mother sound like she did in the first chapter?
- What sort of guests do they have in the Holiday House?
- Who built the Holiday House? How does Mrs Griffin react when he is mentioned (find a quotation and explain what it shows about how she feels).
